Los Hermanos Bauelos members are proud of their culture and heritage and enjoy sharing it with their fans. Dozens of floats and marching bands lined up for the 5.5 mile Rose Parade route on Monday morning. Another one of the many entries in this years parade marking an anniversary, this float from Shriners Childrens honors the organizations first hospital, which opened in Shreveport, Louisiana, in September 1922 and the subsequent century of quality pediatric specialty healthcare, regardless of any familys ability to pay for the services.
